A Fairtrade Christmas for Ammanford's Young and Young At Heart!

Father Christmas has chosen to give Cadburys selection boxes from the Co-Op to the town's young children on the night of the Christmas lights switch-on, recognising Cadbury's investment in Fairtrade.

Fairtrade hot drinks will be served at the Town Council's "Young at Heart" party at the Pensioners' Hall on December 15th from 2-4pm and at the Community Carol Service on the Sunday before Christmas.

Sammy from the Evangelical Church is going to  check about sourcing Fairtrade products for the Christmas Day meal at the Pensioners' Hall.
The Church is supporting the TOY BOX appeal, organised by the Council, aimed at keeping low-income families out of debt this Christmas. The Church will promote the idea of donating Fairly traded toys if possible, from local outlets like Bertram's or Harmony, or on-line or from Oxfam shops.
