Extending the Fairtrade Way

THURSDAY 16th OCTOBER 2014 : WHITLAND – HAVERFORDWEST fair trade way walk

Continuing the Carmarthenshire Fair Trade Way route on into Pembrokeshire!

From Whitland to Haverfordwest. Marking World Food Day 2014.

Meet at Ysgol Llys Hywel, Whitland from 9.15am.

Walk leaves at 10am.

A (bit less than) 20 mile walk to celebrate 20 years of the Fairtrade Foundation!

The route goes through Narberth, Canaston Wood and Slebech Park, finishing at the Oxfam Shop in Haverfordwest around 7pm.

You are welcome to join for all or just some of the way. Walk from the school to the Co-Op (a couple of hundred metres), to Narberth (6/7 miles) or the whole route (19/20 miles).

As well as being another great day of inspiring Fairtrade activity, it should also be a lovely autumnal walk through impressive woods, and along parts of the historic trails of the Landsker Borderlands Trail and the Knights’ Trail.
