The World Café explained…

A Café Conversation is a creative process for leading collaborative dialogue, sharing knowledge and creating possibilities for action in groups of all sizes. The process is simple, yet often yields surprising results. In the World Café gathering, you join several other people at a Café-style table or in a small conversation cluster exploring a question or issue that really matters to your life, work or community. Others are seated at nearby tables or in conversation clusters exploring similar questions at the same time. People are noting down or sketching out key ideas on the Café's paper tablecloths.

From these intimate conversations, members carry key ideas and insights into new small groups. This cross-pollination of perspectives is one of the hallmarks of the World Café. As people and ideas connect together in progressive rounds of conversation, collective knowledge grows and evolves.

Bookings

The cost for the conference is £5 for adults and free for children (under 18’s) including lunch and refreshments. This year tickets must be booked in advance and we recommend early bookings to guarantee your workshop place. To book, please return the booking form with your cheque for £5 per delegate made out to ‘The Wales Fair Trade Forum’ with your name and address printed on the back of the cheque. Please fill out the special children’s booking form for under 16’s. One form is required per person.
