Attending a School Speaker Training Day is a unique opportunity for Fair Trade Volunteers to share their knowledge and experience and learn from others about speaking on behalf of Fair Trade Wales to young people.
If you want to …
· Gain confidence in speaking to school groups
· Find out more about how Fair Trade can be incorporated into school activity
· Share good practice
… then this event is for you!

The Training Day will include:
· Information sessions about Fair Trade, the Wales Campaign, and an overview of the Fair Trade School Scheme.
· Active sessions featuring a range of Fair Trade resources and interactive activities.
· A workshop on giving a talk, including feedback.
Preparation
On the day you will be asked to give a 5-minute talk suitable for an age group of your choice. If you already know a little bit about the Fair Trade School Scheme then please include this in your talk. If not, please present a general talk about Fair Trade aimed at school aged children. If for any reason you are unable give a talk, please contact me. This is a great opportunity to learn from others in an environment which can provide constructive feedback. We ask you to please keep your talk to 5 minutes only.
